Danny Lee's record breaking victory stuns the Johnnie Walker professional's field with a storming finish of four birdies in the last six holes to clinch the title with a final round five-under of 67. Lee became the youngest amateur to win and only the second amateur to win on the European circuit. "It feels like I am in dream and I hope nobody wakes me up," said Lee after his victory. Lee who is 18years and 233 days old beat the age record set by Dale Hayes at the 1971 Spanish Open. Previous winners of this event include Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo, Greg Norman and Ernie Els.

Northern Trust Open, Riviera Club, Pacific Palisades

Final Leader Board: -15 Phil Mickelson (US) -14 Steve Stricker (US) -13 Fred Couples (US), Andres Romero(ARG), KJ Choi(KOR) -12 Luke Donald (ENG), Mark Calcavecchia (US), Rory Sabbatini (SA), JB Holmes (US)

Phil Mickelson shot two birdies in his closing three holes to recover and win by one stroke having held a five stroke lead and secure back to back victories for this event. He was two behind with three to play. His birdie on the 17th and eventual bogey by Steve Stricker on 18 left Phil a shot up on the field.

Next week the Tiger Woods circus starts once moor so it was good for Phil Mickelson to secure a psychologically important victory in this come back week of Tiger's. Hopefully we will see them going head to head together some time soon.
